Search Engine Optimization, more commonly know as SEO, is the process of
directly changing a website structure or content, as well as changes external to your website, that bring more traffic and
make you site rank higher in the search engine results.
Organic SEO
Organic SEO includes changes made to your site that, over the period of weeks or months,
cause your site to have a higher ranking in the search engines. These changes include:
> adding new, dynamic, valuable content
> restructuring the site to have the correct elements for the search engine spiders to see
> ensuring that you have the correct keywords to help users find your site
> Having other (preferably highly ranked) sites link to your site
Non-organic SEO
> Pay for placement schemes offered by Google, Yahoo!, MSN and others
> Buying keywords from search engines
> Buying links on link farms (bad idea!)
